For small angles, a simple pendulum's period depends only on its length and gravity — not on mass or amplitude.
Overview
T = 2π√(L/g) for a simple pendulum at small angles. Notice mass doesn't appear at all — a heavier pendulum bob doesn't swing faster or slower than a lighter one of the same length.
